The Social Innovation to Tackle Fuel Poverty program is an initiative co-created by Ashoka and the Schneider Electric Foundation. It aims to identify and engage 15-20 innovative organizations working in the field of fuel poverty and energy sustainability in five European countries: Germany, Greece, Italy, Portugal, and Spain. The winners will be announced at an event during COP23 in Bonn, Germany and they will receive support through a fully-funded personalized mentoring program by high-achieving business consultants and mentors, who will help them develop a strategy to scale up and amplify their positive impact on society and on the environment. The five best project will receive 2000 euro in seed-funding after COP23, whereas the five projects with the highest potential for social impact by the end of the programme may receive additional funding and in-kind support up to 10000 euro.
